RAAB 5 Installation instructions

Step 1: Install runtime files – HIS2.msi

First install the file 'HIS2.msi' (Windows only) by highlighting this file and double clicking on it. Follow the instructions on your screen. This will install the required runtime files automatically in the right location.

Step 2: Copy entire directory with RAAB files to C:\

Open Explorer and go to location of RAAB5/English/Install RAAB5. Highlight the folder RAAB5 and copy this entire folder to the C-drive. Do NOT place it under Program Files, because newly generated files will be difficult to retrieve under Windows Vista, 7 and 8.

Step 3: Create start button on desktop

Open Explorer and go to C:/RAAB5/RAAB5.EXE. Right-click on this file and create a shortcut to RAAB5.EXE. Then pull the ‘Shortcut to RAAB5.exe’ to the desktop and you will be able to start the RAAB5 software directly from the desktop by clicking on this shortcut button. Rename the shortcut into RAAB5.
